Is walking good exercise?
Walking is great exercise, and can really be a part of jumpstarting your weight loss plan. Now that the weather looks to be getting cooler, this is a great time, to start your daily walking regimen. Get some good walking shoes, remember your sun protection, and carry plenty of water. Remember, force equals mass times distance, so “moving your mass”, over a mile or more, can really help you start burning calories. Also, it’s a great way to keep from idle snacking. That’s a two-pronged approach to begin taking off the pounds!

Things opening up
It appears that businesses in Tucson are beginning to prepare for opening up, with more families going out this past Saturday and Sunday. The trail was filled with walkers, joggers, and cyclist, all appearing to practice safe social distancing. It will be important to maintain that, as well as wearing your mask, and most importantly, staying home if you’re not feeling well. Balancing our physical, emotional, & economic health, will be very important moving forward here in Arizona. Together, we can overcome the coronavirus!
